Hits Galore: Faudree Drills 5 Hits Wednesday, August 12th , 2026 It seemed that Brooklyn first baseman Branden Faudree could do no wrong as the Cyclones KO'd the Dash, 12-1. Faudree rapped out 5 hits in 5 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Dash hurlers were throwing. "I think the Cyclones were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Winston-Salem fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Faudree in the postgame press interview. Branden Faudree singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. Thus far this year, Faudree is hitting .362 with 1 home run, 27 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |
