Torrid August Gets Erickson SAL #1 Batter Trophy Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Aberdeen Ironbirds fans believe they've got a talented young star in Mike Erickson. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .389 with 4 home runs, 14 RBIs and 13 runs scored. The end result was the second baseman being named the South Atlantic League Batter of the Month. Thus far this year, Erickson is batting .342 with 4 home runs, 19 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
