Conklin Acclaimed Top Pitcher in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Over the past month Ryan Conklin has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the South Atlantic League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Asheville Tourists posted 6-0 mark and a 2.45 ERA. In 0 starts he tossed 36.2 innings, permitted 40 hits and fanned 28 batters.
