Postseason Bid Ends for Aberdeen Wednesday, September 2nd , 2026 The playoff hopes of the Aberdeen Ironbirds have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2026 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 1 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Ironbirds right fielder Jody Rembert. The Ironbirds are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team also missed qualifying for the postseason last season. |
