Qin Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, June 3rd , 2026 Yi-ke Qin of the Dust Devils was unstoppable in his team's 17-3 victory over the Hillsboro Hops at Dust Devils Field. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Tri-City second baseman after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will." Yi-ke Qin hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year, Qin is batting .324 with 3 home runs, 20 RBIs and 20 runs scored. |
