Resar Fires No-Hitter Against Vancouver
Saturday, June 13th , 2026
Josh Resar relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold Vancouver hitless in a win, 1-0, at Canadians Stadium.
"Nobody goes out to pitch a no-hitter," he said later. "We just go out and try to get a win. A 10-9 win is better than a 1-0 loss. My pitching buddies might not be too happy giving up nine runs but a win is a win. The key to it today was I mixed my pitches well. I kept the Canadians off balance and guessing the whole game."
The 22-year-old starter rung up 7 strikeouts and 2 walks in whipping the Canadians.
"When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," Vancouver skipper Manny James said.
On the year, Resar has worked 76.2 innings with 66 strikeouts en route to a 1-6 record and 5.52 ERA.
