Lambertson Sensational, 5-for-5 Saturday, August 22nd , 2026 It was high-fives all around for Ben Lambertson at Indians Field. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Spokane Indians. Lambertson smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 4-2 win. "Ben was hitting everything," said Hops manager Mark Johnson. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Indians manager Garrett Bray told BNN beat writers that Lambertson "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Lambertson oversleeps next time."
