Garcia Selected NWL Player of the Week Monday, September 7th , 2026 Spokane fans have something to crow about today as Spokane left fielder Ricardo Garcia nabbed the Northwest League Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Garcia. He posted a .409 average (9-for-22) this past week with 3 home runs, 5 RBIs, and 3 runs scored. Currently Garcia is batting .263 with 44 hits and 4 home runs. He has knocked in 18 runs and scored 21 times. |
