Walter Belts 5 Hits Sunday, June 14th , 2026 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Cole Walter. The right fielder for the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 2 hit the milestone against the San Diego (DSL) Padres 1, helping his club to a narrow 10-9 victory. Walter finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate. "Walter was a tough out," San Diego (DSL) manager Roman Rector told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Cole Walter hit an RBI triple in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, grounded out in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. |
