Brown Batters Atlanta (DSL) Big Time Monday, June 15th , 2026 Chicago A (DSL) White Sox left fielder Jim Brown had a day to remember at Truist Park, ripping apart the Atlanta (DSL) Braves and sparking the 15-2 White Sox win. Brown wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-6. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Brown told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Jim Brown singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Thus far this season, Brown has hit .462 with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 5 times. |
