San Diego (DSL) Stops Keating Hit Streak Sunday, July 26th , 2026 It just wasn't Chase Keating's day. The New York N (DSL) Mets 2 grabbed the 2-1 win over the San Diego (DSL) Padres 1, but the Padres 1 mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 20-game hitting streak of Mets 2 left fielder Chase Keating. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Keating," San Diego (DSL) manager Roman Rector commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Mets 2 have other hitters and they did their job today." This season, Keating has hit 6 home runs and posted a .367 batting average. |
