Colorado (DSL) second baseman Tony Quevedo keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.
His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Ballpark of Colorado (DSL). The Rockies 1 earned the 12-7 victory over the Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 2.
"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Quevedo said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Tony Quevedo struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Thus far this year, Quevedo has hit .419 with 4 home runs and 16 RBIs.
