Bush Strokes 5 Hits Friday, August 7th , 2026 No matter what the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson threw at him, Josh Bush hit it. He easily handled Dodgers Robinson pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Cardinals Red triumph, 22-3, at St. Louis (DSL) Grounds. "The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Bush's quip, Dodgers Robinson skipper Jeff Williams said he "would take him up on that next time." Josh Bush walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a two-run triple in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season, Bush is batting .500 with 4 RBIs, 5 runs scored and no home runs. |
