Detroit (DSL) Snaps Keener Streak at 21 Wednesday, August 12th , 2026 The Tigers 1 stopped Jake Keener's 21-game hitting streak at Sutter Health Park, but they couldn't stop the DSL Athletics, falling by the score of 20-0. Keener didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-5. "It's just as well," Athletics manager Andy Rolfes said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." This season, Keener has hit 8 home runs and posted a .353 batting average. |
