Hector Olmedo has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Texas (DSL) left fielder picked up 1 more today against the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 2 and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Rangers 1 won the game, 10-9.
"Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Hector Olmedo flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Alex Molina in the 6th, walked in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
