Title Captured - Boca Chica Northeast Division Won by New York N (DSL) Sunday, August 16th , 2026 They may have won the Boca Chica Northeast Division easily, but that didn't stop members of the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 from celebrating joyously when the clinch became official. "It doesn't matter if you're one game ahead, or 100 games ahead, it still feels amazing to be division champs, especially in the Boca Chica Northeast Division," said reliever Dylan Daniel. "This is where you want to be from the get go when you start each year." The smiles on the faces of the New York N (DSL) players stretched ear-to-ear as they embraced each other in bear hugs, while yelling, singing, chanting and even drinking in their clubhouse, late into the night. It is the 1st division title for the club and they will now be vying for the 1st Dominican Rookie League championship in team history. |
