Corral on Fire: 6-for-6 for St. Louis (DSL) Sunday, August 16th , 2026 It seemed that St. Louis (DSL) second baseman David Corral could do no wrong as the Cardinals Blue KO'd the Guardians 2, 14-0. Corral rapped out 6 hits in 6 at-bats and seemed to know which pitches Guardians 2 hurlers were throwing. "I think the Cardinals Blue were stealing signs," growled one unhappy Cleveland (DSL) fan after the game. "I felt good. I saw the ball well and just wanted to make good contact and put the ball in play," said the jubilant Corral in the postgame press interview. David Corral singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Currently Corral has 10 home runs and a .432 batting average. |
