Chorosz Crushes 3 Homers Against Cleveland (DSL)
Wednesday, August 19th , 2026
Hitting three home runs in a game is usually something to celebrate, but there was no celebration to be found at Guardians 1 Grounds after the hitting barrage from Floriano Chorosz. The Cincinnati (DSL) Reds dropped the contest, 11-10, to the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 1, leaving Chorosz with only a historical footnote as consolation.
Floriano is blessed with a natural home run swing so he gets the ball up in the air real quickly," Cincinnati (DSL) manager Enrique Becerra said after the loss. "It's just a shame we couldn't win the game, too. I'm sure it spoils the day a little for him."
Along with putting three in the stands, Chorosz went 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"It's rare that you actually try to hit a home run," he told reporters after the game. "Mostly you'll fail if you really try to hit one, but today I tried on the last one."
Floriano Chorosz hit a solo-shot off Henry Alcaraz in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Jose Luna in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Jimmy Ortiz in the 9th.
Currently Chorosz has 11 home runs and a .322 batting average.
