In the Cleveland (DSL)'s 11-10 win over Cincinnati (DSL), second baseman Rick Gerlach was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Guardians 1 Grounds. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Gerlach said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Rick Gerlach flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. |
