Arizona (DSL)-Pittsburgh (DSL) Fight Results in Suspensions
Friday, August 21st , 2026
Yesterday at Diamondbacks 1 Grove Pedro Delgado and Ricardo Trejo got into each other's space and then into each other's face. They began to grapple and fell to the ground. That's when it boiled over into a full-fledged bench-clearing tussle between the Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks 1 and Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 1. Reason finally prevailed as the umpires restored order. After much discussion, only the two major combatants were ejected from the game.
Today the league office notified the ballclubs that Delgado will have to sit out 5 while Trejo would be given a 6-game suspension for their roles in the brawl.
So far this year, Delgado is batting .376 with 7 home runs and 27 RBIs.
Trejo has taken the mound for 12 relief appearances this season, nailing down 2 saves while notching a 1-1 record with a 7.12 ERA. The Pittsburgh (DSL) reliever has limited opposing batters to a .311 batting average.
