Nakatsuka Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, August 21st , 2026 Eisaku Nakatsuka has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Colorado (DSL) shortstop picked up 4 more today against the Cincinnati (DSL) Reds and now has a 20-game hitting streak. The Rockies 1 won the game, 5-2. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Eisaku Nakatsuka hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Humberto Macias in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. In 36 games Nakatsuka is hitting .365 this season with 54 hits, 15 home runs, 43 RBIs, 5 walks, .394 OBP and has scored 34 runs. |
