Harrington Batters Texas (DSL) Big Time Saturday, August 22nd , 2026 Chris Harrington told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard." Well, that's just what Harrington of the Philadelphia (DSL) Phillies Red did against the Texas (DSL) Rangers 2. He went to the plate 6 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 9-8. "Not much I can say," offered Harrington in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?" Chris Harrington singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 10th. |
