Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Haley Sunday, August 23rd , 2026 Joel Haley's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Chicago N (DSL). The 18-year-old first baseman extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 4-for-5 performance against the Atlanta (DSL) Braves. The Cubs 2 won the game, 10-9. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Joel Haley hit an RBI double in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ernie Guerrero in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th. In the 2026 season Haley is hitting .553 with 4 home runs. |
