Super Swinger -- Solomon Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, August 26th , 2026 It was a great day at the plate for Joe Solomon. For his San Francisco (DSL) Giants 1, the day was not nearly as good. The shortstop collected 5 hits in 6 tries, but his club still came up short in the win column. The Arizona (DSL) Diamondbacks 1 snatched the victory, topping the Giants 1 by a score of 10-8. "Well that wasn't how it was supposed to end," Solomon said later. "I'll just have to do it again and get it right." Joe Solomon singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Michael Griego in the 10th.
