Rhyne on Fire: 5-for-5 for Pittsburgh (DSL) Sunday, August 30th , 2026 Pittsburgh (DSL) Pirates 2 right fielder Ken Rhyne really lit up the Boston (DSL) Red Sox 2 with a 5-hit barrage at Red Sox 2 Park -- a performance that sparked the Pirates 2 to a 6-4 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Ken Rhyne singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Nick Javier in the 8th. Thus far this year, Rhyne has hit .384 with 4 home runs and 29 RBIs. |
