August's #1 Batter Announced Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 DSL left fielder Freddy Burkhart took home the Dominican Rookie League Batter of the Month Trophy for August. He put up some solid numbers, including a .455 batting average and .529 on-base percentage with 25 hits, 8 home runs, 28 RBIs and 22 runs scored. So far this year in 38 games, Burkhart is hitting .473 with 18 home runs, 55 RBIs and 47 runs scored. |
