They took the series 4-3 and will now head to the Round 2. For his standout play, Colorado (DSL) second baseman B.J. Lawrence was voted the series' Most Valuable Player. He batted .333, drove in 1 runs and scored 1 to lead his club to victory. "We could never really figure out how to pitch to Lawrence and that doomed us," said Mets 1 manager David Jaimes.
