Hang-fu Mao was dynamite at Tropicana Field, blowing away the Los Angeles Angels in a shutout victory. The Tampa Bay Rays starter had everything working as he held the Angels to 7 hits in the 7-0 win.
"He was pure nasty out there today," said Los Angeles skipper Adam Sweeney. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."
Mao finished the game with 2 strikeouts and no walks.
