AL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, June 15th , 2026 Not every ball that came off Paul Wellman's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Texas Rangers. For his exploits, Wellman was named this week's American League Player of the Week award. The Texas first baseman put up 13 hits in 22 at-bats and 5 home runs while hitting .591 with 10 RBIs and 10 runs scored. This season, Wellman is batting .335 with 22 home runs. |
