Washington-Kansas City Trade Confirmed Friday, July 31st , 2026 The Washington Nationals have finalized a deal with the Kansas City Royals for the services of 22-year old minor league RHP Scott Murphy and 22-year old minor league RHP Ryan Walters. In exchange, the Royals will receive 27-year old RHP Justin Russ. So far this season, Russ has 15 saves in 35 relief appearances with a 2-4 mark and 5.94 ERA. Opposing teams are hitting .285 against him. |
