New York, San Diego Trade Made Friday, July 31st , 2026 Reports have surfaced that New York has agreed to send 30-year old RHP Miguel Anzaldo and $470,000 in cash to the San Diego Padres in exchange for 26-year old 3B Bill Black and 24-year old minor league LF Xavier Zapeta. "It's a done deal," said one executive speaking on the condition of anonymity. "I'm surprised word got around so quickly. We just signed off on this an hour ago." The deal apparently is awaiting physicals before an official announcement is made by either team. So far this season, Anzaldo has compiled a 9-7 record with a 3.69 ERA. |
