Friday, July 31st , 2026
A trade was announced today at a press conference in New York. Not satisfied with their current roster, the New York Mets general manager shook things up by acquiring 27-year old SS Mike Coke and 17-year old minor league 2B Jose Coronado from the San Francisco Giants for 25-year old RHP Jeff Bailey and $1,900,000 in cash.

"We're a better team now," Mets general manager Justin Abbott said. "We've added several pieces to the puzzle."

In 21 starts this year, Bailey has recorded a 5-11 record and a 4.16 ERA.
