Toronto, Texas Agree to Swap Friday, July 31st , 2026 Newspapers in Toronto and Texas reported that the Blue Jays have reached a deal sending 30-year old RHP Sergio Nevarez to the Rangers for 23-year old minor league 3B Landon Ruger and 21-year old minor league 1B Jose Fernandez. Nevarez's record this season is 5-and-1 with no saves and a 5.72 ERA. He has given up 82 hits in 74 innings with 70 strikeouts. |
