Chicago, San Francisco Make Deal Friday, July 31st , 2026 Chicago and San Francisco announced today in a joint press conference that 27-year old C Angelo Juarez and $280,000 in cash will be going to the Giants in exchange for 23-year old minor league SS Justin Davis and 21-year old minor league LHP Nate Beahm. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. So far this year in 76 games, Juarez is hitting .288 with 10 home runs, 36 RBIs and 33 runs scored. |
