Chicago, Los Angeles Trade Players Friday, July 31st , 2026 The White Sox and Angels pulled the trigger on a deal that will see 26-year old RHP Danny Munguia, 23-year old minor league RHP Alex Castrejon, and $700,000 in cash head to Los Angeles in exchange for 23-year old minor league 1B Seth Tankersley, 22-year old minor league RHP David Clemmons, and 20-year old minor league RHP Gil Mayorga. A source close to Chicago officials said, "The teams spent long hours coming to the agreement and in the end, both agreed the deal should help both clubs." This year, Munguia has delivered 14 saves. In 19 relief appearances, he has 17 strikeouts in 18.1 innings with a 2.95 ERA. His season won-lost mark is 0-2. |
