Paredes Wins AL Rookie Award Saturday, August 1st , 2026 Alberto Paredes's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Minnesota center fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In July he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .264 with 6 doubles, no triples and 3 home runs. Paredes also scored 15 times and drove in 6 runs. To date Paredes has chalked up a .264 average with 3 home runs, driven in 6 runs and scored 15 times. |
