Jimenez Wins Best Bat Trophy in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 At only 23 years of age, Luis Jimenez could very well have many more months like this last one during his career. That would be great news for fans of the Boston Red Sox, as August was one to remember for the shortstop and he has captured the American League Batter of the Month award. On the month he hit .337 with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 24 runs scored. A look at his season totals shows Jimenez with 41 home runs, .279 BA, .355 OBP, 107 RBIs and 85 runs scored. |
