Ron Flanigan Named AL Rookie of Month Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Ron Flanigan is still a bit shy, but then, who could blame the newest American League Rookie of the Month honoree? He hasn't been around the league long enough to fully know the ropes yet, despite the fact that he's putting up veteran-like numbers. In August the Seattle hitter tagged opposing pitching for a .353 average with 30 hits, 7 home runs and 22 RBIs. So far this year, Flanigan is batting .353 with 7 home runs. |
