Milwaukee-New York Brawl, Annett and Garnica Suspended
Tuesday, September 8th , 2026
Mike Annett of the Milwaukee Brewers and Ray Garnica of the New York Mets will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Brewers-Mets game at American Family Field.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Annett and Garnica will begin serving them soon.
Thus far this season, Annett is hitting .190 with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has 11 hits in 58 at-bats and has played in 20 games.
In 16 starts this year, Garnica has fashioned a 7-3 record and a 2.89 ERA.
