Rowdy Players Suspended by League Wednesday, September 9th , 2026 Bryan Prosser of Tampa Bay and Joe Marchisio of St. Louis were the main participants in a recent bench-clearing brawl and today the league handed out its punishment. Prosser will have to miss 4 games for his part in the brawl, while Marchisio was given 6 games. League officials announced their suspensions today. This year, Prosser has hit at a .267 clip with 23 hits, 1 home run, 12 RBIs and 6 runs scored. Up to now Marchisio has recorded a record of 9-7. In 26 starts he has fanned 163 batters in 161.2 innings with a 2.95 ERA. |
