He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Tigers West Grounds, but the performance lost a little luster when the Tigers West were downed, 8-5, by the New York A (FCL) Yankees. After his glittering performance, the Detroit W (FCL) second baseman told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book, too," Castillo said. Cesar Castillo doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Castillo has a .433 average and a .459 on-base percentage for the year.
