Hit Streak Now at 20 for Medina Monday, July 20th , 2026 The Baltimore (FCL) Orioles Orange may have proven to be mere mortals as they lost, 8-6, to the St. Louis (FCL) Cardinals, but Oscar Medina continued to hit like a god. The center fielder collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games. "Medina is playing great and is on fire right now," Orioles Orange manager David Todd said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins." Medina was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Oscar Medina struck out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Edwardo Cuevas in the 8th and walked in the 9th. So far this season, Medina has hit .323 with 6 home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 26 times. |
