Medina Keeps Hit Streak Alive Saturday, July 25th , 2026 The number just keeps getting higher. Baltimore (FCL) center fielder Oscar Medina has now extended his hitting string to 25 games. He did it today with 1 hit in 4 at-bats as the Baltimore (FCL) won the game, 4-2, over the Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates Black at Pirates Black Grounds. "Who knows how long it will go on?" Pittsburgh (FCL) manager Jose Romero said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Oscar Medina flied out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. So far this season, Medina has recorded a .358 batting average with 53 hits, 6 home runs, 20 RBIs, 27 runs scored and a .421 OBP. |
