No Comeback This Season for Agudelo Wednesday, August 5th , 2026 The news was not unexpected, but that didn't make it easier to accept for the Washington (FCL) Nationals: reliever Alfonso Agudelo is out for the year. Agudelo suffered a bone spur in his elbow on 08/03/2026. The team knew that the chances of seeing him return were slim to none. But today it was made official. To this point in the season, Agudelo has put up these figures: 0-0 record, 20 relief appearances with 36.2 innings, no saves, 24 strikeouts, 14 walks and a 5.65 ERA. He has limited other teams to a .323 batting average. |
