Schram Goes on Rampage Against Mets Saturday, August 8th , 2026 It was a good day for the Cardinals at Busch Stadium as they clipped the New York N (FCL) Mets, 10-1. It was tremendous day for Devin Schram, who was on a hitting barrage at the plate, finishing 5-for-5. "I don't know what to call that," the St. Louis (FCL) left fielder told reporters after his big performance. "I'm not 'dialed in' or 'in a zone,' I just try to keep it simple. Basically the pitcher throws the ball, I try to pick up the spin, then I hit it. Today I picked up the spin pretty well." Devin Schram singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. Schram is hitting .480 this year with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .536, 2 walks and scored 5 times. |
