Adams Catches up on Yard Work -- Slams 4 Homers Monday, August 10th , 2026 Fans at Pirates Gold Ballpark won't soon forget the raw display of power put on by Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates Gold first baseman Josh Adams. Adams smashed 4 home runs in Pittsburgh (FCL)'s 30-2 victory over the Boston (FCL) Red Sox. "To be honest with you, I have never even thought about hitting this many home runs in a game," Adams said to reporters after the game. "Only legends hit this many home runs in a game and I ain't no legend." In his history-making performance, Adams victimized Boston (FCL) hurlers for 5 hits in 6 at-bats with 5 runs scored and 13 RBIs. "What he did was unbelievable," said Boston (FCL) manager Mike Yinger. "My guys gave it their best, but he hit some fine pitches. He was like -- he was in automatic home run mode today. He just had that great swing. It didn't matter what we threw him. It was gone." Josh Adams grounded out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Nick Doss in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Barthelemy Sanguinetti in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Ryan Weaver in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Steve Greenhaw in the 8th.
