Monk Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, August 11th , 2026 Josh Monk had a day to remember at LoanDepot Park, but the memory will be bittersweet. Even though Monk hit for the cycle, his Miami (FCL) Marlins still fell to the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles Orange, 11-10. The 19-year-old center fielder went 4-for-5 with 2 runs batted in and 3 runs scored in the loss. "It's a heartbreaker for Josh," said Miami (FCL) manager Wade Barton. "He deserved to get a win after a day like that." Josh Monk tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Bemis in the 7th, singled in the 9th and struck out in the 10th. |
