Ruger Slams 5 Hits for Toronto (FCL) Saturday, August 15th , 2026 Toronto (FCL) third baseman Landon Ruger had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Boston (FCL) Red Sox at Rogers Centre as the Blue Jays picked up a win, 15-3. "He was patient up there," Toronto (FCL) skipper Dan Reese told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ruger has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Landon Ruger singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th.
