Charlotte-Memphis Brawl, Skinner and Johnson Suspended Sunday, August 16th , 2026 If there wasn't a history between Mike Skinner of Charlotte and Tim Johnson of Memphis, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Skinner said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." This year, Skinner is hitting at a .293 pace with 14 home runs and 47 RBIs. He has played in 108 games and scored 51 times. His record for the year is 9-3 in 24 starts and Johnson has a 2.78 ERA. |
