Reds-Mariners Swap: Tellier for Schwartz Friday, July 31st , 2026 The Reds and the Mariners finalized a deal this afternoon. Cincinnati has traded for 28-year old minor league LHP Joe Schwartz and in return Seattle will receive 22-year old minor league 3B Romain Tellier, 21-year old minor league 3B Donnie Pullen, and 23-year old minor league RHP Jim Heatwole. This season, Schwartz has made 11 relief appearances with no saves. In 22.2 innings he has fanned 15 hitters and recorded 2 wins and no losses with a 1.59 ERA. |
